My name is Emma Cook-Clarke.
I am from and currently live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

My athletic background began outside in the mountains doing various activities: running/hiking, biking, climbing, skiing, and paddling. I played competitive soccer and rugby until university, where I switched focus to running, competing for the University of Calgary in cross country and track and field. Since completion of my degree, I have been competing in mountain and trail running races, and have increased my training time doing other strenuous outdoor activities.

My goals for this year are to give my best effort towards obstacle course racing, to be part of the great community, and to support others who are getting into the sport. I would love to be competitive in the elite field and am eager to work incredibly hard to reach this goal.

I am passionate about female empowerment through sport and activity, and am thrilled to be part of a team that fosters this same attitude. This encouragement and empowerment has positive impacts on many aspects of life, in athletics and beyond. An additional cause I care about is our environment and natural spaces that we use and love so much.
